Our Story
Jeffrey B. Young founded the company in 1984 after years of hands-on electronics experience and a career at the FCC. By 1995, Potomac Security Systems had grown into a full-time family business built on referrals and long-term customer relationships.
Today the same family still answers the phone, installs the systems, and shows up for service calls. Many of our customers have been with us for twenty years or more, and most new customers reach us through a neighbor's recommendation.
